Pyroglytheum
Known for its horrible side effects, Pyroglytheum (Dubbed "glytheum" for short) is a well known mutagen that has the physical properties of ore in the Shezue System. First discovered thousands of years ago by the ancient Taliac clan on Bolla IV, the Shezue were terrified of its horrible side effects contacting its environment. When it was discovered, it was mined as a popular ore for years until people started to discover what it was doing to them. Before long, the entire population of Bolla IV began to gradually began to wither and die away. Its people started to panic more and more, fleeing from something they knew nothing about as glytheum began to dry up its rivers and kill its wildlife, something that was seen all across the planet's surface.

However, a small group of the Taliac people, scientists from around the planet, gathered in discovery of a new era of technology they dubbed Pyro-tech. For decades these groups of people experimented with what little resources they had to soon harness advanced technology for their time that would reshape their history. After many attempts, they were finally able to break down the Glytheum ore into a mercury-like state, called pure pyroglytheum, or pure-pyro. By doing this through many mechanical means, they were able to extract electricity from it, using it to light their houses and temples. Afterwards they quickly began to create methods of stopping its spread in the many regions of their planet where it either festered quickly, or was mined. However, because of the damage already done, it was too late to salvage most of the planet. Most of its oceans dried, and many of its ecosystems destroyed and gone.

Decades later, all of the temples on Bolla IV used this new technology to power its various mechanical advancements and lighting. It became a popular technology, almost an infinite solution to their problems. As centuries went by, scientists then used this technology for other power sources ranging from weaponry to entertainment. Before long, there wasn't a single spot in the solar system where controlled glytheum was new to.
